Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. While growing up, she listened to many traditional music as well as old boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos. Also, she loves performing in dramatic shows. The mother of her child taught her to sing. She began singing by Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. his name was known as a famous Mexican opera Tenor. It was at the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continue to provide her with music instruction. While a young student and professional, she performed with various chamber groups as well as opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. In 2000, she emigrated back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she settled in her new home in Southern California. She is a current member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer performing classic Latin American music at private performances. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community because of her passion as well as a love of music. Ana was also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and appreciation for traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations to keep this tradition of music lively and alive.Viva Mexico!
